Fort Collins Mayor
Emily Francis is our top choice in an excellent field of candidates. She originally ran on a pro-housing city council campaign six years ago and has been fighting for housing ever since. Emily believes housing is a human right and her policy platform is simple: people should be able to afford to live near where they work, play, or go to school.
City Council District 1
YIMBY Fort Collins couldn’t be prouder to endorse our own volunteer Chris Conway running for Fort Collins City Council in District 1. Chris grew up in Fort Collins, is a local school teacher and serves on the Historic Preservation Commission as well as the board of Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity. He’s running for City Council to help build a future where every neighbor can thrive, and we ready to help him do it! Join us in supporting Chris’s campaign!
Fort Collins City Council District 3
Josh Fudge believes Fort Collins deserves more choices in our homes and that renters should have an equal voice. He is focused on holding staff accountable to the 90-day approval process required by Prop 123.

Lance Smith recognizes that there is no one solution to the housing shortage. He's running on providing rental assistance, discounting development fees for affordable housing, and ensuring that Fort Collins residents of all income levels can live in our community.
Fort Collins City Council District 5
Amy Hoeven is committed to a more affordable Fort Collins. She promotes transit-oriented development and believes all who want to live and work in Fort Collins should be able to find housing here. She has deep experience working with vulnerable populations, including first-generation and immigrant students. Amy understands the importance of affordable infill housing to a strong economy and environmental sustainability.
